Members of Unity-Costa Rica are called Spiritual Investors because they an annual commitment to invest in the financing of the ministry on a monthly basis. These individuals recognize Unity as a vehicle for their spiritual growth which in turn contribute to the evolution of the spiritual community and world that they desire.

 

The purpose of the Spiritual Investor program is to build the consciousness of commitment that is essential for a spiritual community to grow in. In addition, Spiritual Investor financial pledges establish the basis for the annual budget so that it is possible to know what resources are available for meeting the financial needs of the center.

 

 

Spiritual Investors invests in financial support of Unity for:

  • The minister’s salary and the other Unity personnel (office assistant     cleaning, design, utilities, Internet etc., etc.    
  •  Continued Unity presence in San Pedro covering rent for the service space on Saturdays, tea, coffee, cookies etc.                 

 

In this way Unity offers:

  • Weekly services in Spanish (two) and English (one)
  • A bilingual music director with multiple talents including choir and music
  • Bocultural service celebrations at least 6 times per year
  • Counseling, crisis pastoral care
  • Classes, workshops, special events, holiday activities
  • A monthly tithe (10% of all Unity income) to an individual or organization that is a source of spiritual good, chosen by the Unity Board of Directors
  • Empowering leaders to initiate and sustain Unity groups
  • Participation in the worldwide Unity movement
  • Overall outreach to all people, regardless of their spiritual path, with the liberating, uplifting message of our oneness with God

  3. According to the Unity Costa Rica by-laws, Spiritual Investors who are up to date on their financial pledge are the only individuals who have the privilege of a vote at congregational meetings


How much should I give?

 

The consciousness established through the practice of tithing is a universal one that creates its own energy of prosperity. If you want a changed consciousness, you will want to choose the path of tithing, which is ten percent of your income to a source of your spiritual good. This choice is the most direct route to learning to trust in Spirit as Source and experience freedom from lack.

 

In Unity, we also understand that you may be passing through a moment in your life in which you may not feel confident with this or simply believe that it is not necessary. We accept people wherever they are on the spiritual path and the beliefs they hold. So the best we can do is encourage you to go beyond your comfort zone and stretch your consciousness through the practice of giving to sources of your spiritual good.

 

How and Where do I give?

 

  •  Whichever way you choose to give, please make sure we receive together with your donation, your name and the designation, Spiritual Investor. This includes direct bank transfers or through a PayPal account. This is important to maintain good financial records as well determining your qualification for voting 
  • You will receive a monthly e-mail reminding you of your communicate compliance, simply a general reminder.
  • Please save the attached information in a safe place at home as a reminder of the information needed for you deposits, It also  severs as a monthly reminder.
